I had my eyes on this chair for ages but I was concerned that it wouldn’t fit through my doorway. I could see that it was part assembled but there weren’t any base measurements on the website (after closely reviewing the images, I figured this was the only part of the chair that could be detached). So before ordering, I contacted customer services who kindly shared the base measurements and confirmed that it would arrive separately from the seat.
When delivering the chair, the team instantly expressed their concerns about fitting the chair through the doorway. I told them it should be fine once it was out of the box as it came in two parts. To my surprise, the box showed that the chair was in fact FULLY assembled and therefore would not fit. The team kindly unboxed the chair for me to double check, but ultimately had to leave it in my garden as there was no chance it would fit through fully assembled.
As the chair requires two people to lift it, my husband had to leave work early so we could take it apart (a big risk!) and attempt to get it through the door before it rained or became too dark.
It’s a lovely chair but I honestly don’t think it’s worth the hassle. Plus, I shared my Customer Service feedback with Dunelm over a week ago and the product description remains the same. I just hope you read this before ordering!

The most beautiful chair! It is slightly squeaky at times when turning but I think that will go in time. Would definitely recommend to others

Great chair for my daughter’s room. She loves the spinning part of it, so it’s great for kids room. Also review at the bottom scared me a bit, about the size of it, as I only saw it after ordering. But it fits through the standard door easily.
