Ingredients

  • wheat flour -2 cup
  • oil - 2 tablespoon
  • crushed garlic - 1 tablespoon
  • red chilli powder - 1- 1/2 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder -1/2 tablespoon
  • coriander and jeera powder - 1 tablespoon
  • fenugreek leaves - 1 cup
  • yogurt -1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • water as required to knead the dough

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into semi soft dough using enough water.
  • Divide the into a small small portion and roll out the dough in the shape of chapati (7") diameter using a little while wheat flour for rolling.
  • Heat a nonstick tava and cook each thepla on a medium oil, using oil till is turn golden brown in colour from both sides.
  • Serve the methi thepla with mango chunda or mango pickle.
